Discipleship

At Northside, discipleship is more of a process than a program. It is the Holy Spirit who draws people to Christ and we trust that He will help each of us along the journey of becoming fully devoted followers of Jesus. Philippians 1:6 says, "And I am sure that God, who began a good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on that day when Christ Jesus comes back again."

It is the responsibility of the leaders at Northside to do what Ephesians 4:12 says, "Their responsibility is to equip God's people to do His work and build up the church." Regularly during the year, you are invited to join the leadership at Northside for an LCM (Leadership Community Meeting). There you will be equipped, trained, and encouraged to do the good works God has called you to and to build up His church. Look for the next LCM on the Upcoming Events page.

A disiciple is a student, a learner who's dedicated to becoming like Jesus Christ. This is accomplish in a number of ways. Below you will find a list of ways to become more like Jesus.
